THE JOURNEY INTO OBLIVION

I know who I am, you know who I was...

See I’ve been on a rollercoaster thinking about the journey what this journey is really about where does this path we take lead us, we’re often told that it’s as simple as finding the one it’s as simple as making a choice to commit and sticking it through despite the challenges the obligations and the flaws ever so termed red flags well is that all it is I mean if it were so simple one’s feelings could easily be interpreted and understood one’s feelings could never be misconstrued right? You find yourself lying on a bed staring at the ceiling so confused yet so content with no balance or bridge between the two most common concepts constantly preached and raved about, see if it really were that simple I guess it’d be a course we’d all pass somehow sometime in our lives. And although this may be the case we never quite find the answers to the questions we later ask food for thought perhaps...how is it that one can find themselves so enamored and enwrapped but have room for steady conflictions that destroy any form of stability. It’s never as rigid as portrayed yeah yeah I may be set on a path of rambling and uncertainty moving from one side to the next up and down and never ever feel the same way today, yesterday or tomorrow! In so saying all the burdens that erupt for the so called reason and purpose to destiny never really prevail and then it’s back to square one back to the drawing board and beginning a life long journey once again. So then! The journey is infinite the journey is constant and physicists would say the journey has whatever hypothesis you want because you in the end come to whatever conclusion you see best and still there’s no end? I guess then it’s not as simple as said or put but it’s meant to be taken and embarked on to realize the joys , the sadness , the shame , the mistakes and the place because if it were that simple it wouldn’t be a path anyone would choose perhaps then the hypothesis would be starting at a point always leads to a point but starting at this point doesn’t guarantee ending at this point SO WHAT IS THE POINT.

The only song that made sense for this piece was

Journey - Don't Stop Believin'
